The accompanying asparagus was very tiny stalks, very overcooked and mushy, and yet so tough they couldn't even be cut with a knife. the fish I got was very grissly, to the point I had to cut it with a knife - fish! It had no flavor at all. The server asked whether I wanted it grilled or sautéed, neither of which seemed like "seered" to me, but she recommended grilled, so I said OK. Ahi tuna should be a premium quality tuna, seared quickly but still pretty raw in the middle. I, however, ordered a "special" - ahi tuna - that was really bad. Most of my group was pleased with their meals - two steaks, a burger, and a jerk chicken dish. our party of 5, sitting at a round table, could hardly carry on a conversation. This second visit, was not nearly so busy, but the noise level was very high. first time, about 6 months ago, remember some wonderful black bean soup and that the restaurant was very busy and crowded. If you want a burger, just cross the road and go to Fuddruckers. ![]() The chef and management should work on increasing the number of "island" dishes and try to lessen the number of burgers. The cocktails we had were excellent, and we were very pleased with the table service we received. I tasted it and thought it was a bit dry. I had the seafood linguine, and while it was hot and delicious, there was far less lobster than shrimp, and FAR too much pasta. We had the hot spinach dip as an appetizer, and I think we would have preferred more crispy plantain chips rather than the chips (red and white) we got. The table top is a little high in terms of the ratio to the seat, so that made it a little uncomfortable. ![]() We were seated right away, and got a well positioned booth near the bar. On weekends, you really have to get in the door before 5PM, or it gets very crowded. We got a coupon for $10 off via email, and decided to revisit this restaurant after some considerable time.
